The Girl Who Was Touched

Chapter 1: A New Adventure

"And... there! All finished. This bloody staircase is done. Simon, how are you doning with the glass roof?" Xephos, also know as Lewis, and Simon, or Honeydew the Dwarf, had come back to the glorious Yogcave. Since many blocks of TNT had created a large amounts of damage, they decided to take a break from adventuring to restore it. At this time, Honeydew was on the top of the tower, building the glass roof they had planned to make.  But suddenly, they ended up chasing after The Pale-Faced man Israphel.
Simon looked downward, to see Lewis staring at his staircase."Get out of the way!" he yelled, and jumped through a hole in the roof. And just in time, placed the last part of the glass ceiling down. Xephos doveaway, and Honeydew landed with a loun and audible crack. Simon backed away into a corner, and started eating a porkchop.
"Are you okay?" Xephos came in from the front door and walked over the Honeydew.
"Do not hit me, I'm on half a heart." Simon walked over to the windows, porkchop in hand.
His gaze fell on something in the sky. His I eyes grew wide.
"Lewis, what's that in the sky? Is that and Airship?" Xephos opened the door, and looked across tiny clearing infront of their front walkway. Looking to his right, the ocean was covered in ice. And a few blocks above the frozen sea, was Lysander's Airship. Knight_Peculiar leaned over the railing a bit and called to the Hero,
"Come, Xephos, Honeydew! We must get going!" Lewis smiled, and waved. He ran right back into the house, and went over to his chest. Inside was a Diamond Sword, Diamond armor, some Iron Pickaxes, food, and cobblestone. Above the chest was a sign. It read: A New Adventure. That was what all these thing were for. Xephos and Honeydew had planned it all out. If they ever needed to be ready for a adventure, they needed to be prepared.
"Honeydew, get everything from these chests. We're going to need it all."
Puting on the armor, grabbing their tools, they were ready for anything. Plus, the texturepack they were using made them look like kings.
Running outside and climbing up a makeshift ladder, Lysadner greeted them.
"Heroes! How have you been? Good I hope." shaking hands with Lysander, Xephos nodded.
"We've been mining and getting tools for anything to come our way." Honeydew nudged Xephos, and he pulled out a map. "Oh, and we've got a map to look for Daisy_Duke." Xephos turned to Peculiar, who was carrying a bucket of milk, like always. Then, as if to break the scilence, Knight_Peculiar asked a question that was on everyone's mind.
"Has anyone seen Israphel?" he spat out the Pal-Faced man's name angrily. Israphel had taken Daisy_Duke, and Knight_Peculiar was not happy with Israphel at all. Xephos shook his head, and Honeydew answered.
"No sign of him anywhere. Not even a trap at our back door." he broke off the top part of the ladder that conected the Airship to the ground, and the floating ship lifted upward.
"Well, you two should get some rest. We'll be ariving at New Mistral soon." Lysander pointed to a door at the bottom of the ship, and Honeydew climbed down the ladder into a storage area.
"Xephos, are you going to sleep?" Lysander asked, while climbing up to the Airship's wheel. Xephos sighed. He hadn't been able to sleep in three days now. He was nervous that either the Airship would pass them completely, or something would have happened while he and Honeydew were asleep. But mostly, Xephos didn't want to sleep because he was scared that Israphel might take his or Honeydew's life while they sleept. Xephos nodded.
"I'll go to bed soon, Lysander. But I wanted to talk to you both about something." he turned away from the dissappearing Yogcave, and looked to the young Knight_Peculiar. "We've looked everywhere, and we can't seem to find Daisy_Duke. I'm sorry to say this, but Peculiar, I think Daisy is gone." Xephos sucked in his breath, and waited for Knight_Peculiar to yell.
Peculiar's face turned white, and he leaned up against the wall or the ship. He looked up at Xephos, who was trying hard not to yell as well.
"How could you say that? If she had passed on, we would've been sent in some form of message to Israphel." Peculiar's eyes watered, but his stood his ground. "This isn't your call, Xephos. And even though your the one of two Heroes of Minecraftia, it doesn't mean you can tell me what is right and what is wrong! Now, just go to bed. We'll be at New Mistral in the morning. And I wish to hear an apology from you soon as well." Peculiar went through a door on the deck, and slammed it behind him. Xephos took in every word Peculiar had said, and went over to the bow of the ship. His stared off for many moments, and soon felt Lysander come to stand next to him.
"Xephos, he has a point. You mustn't tell him things like that when you don't know if they're true." Lysander patted Xephos on the back and walked back up tothe wheel, and began to steer again. Xephos sighed once more, and walked over to the door where Honeydew had dissappeared to a few minutes before. Before Xephos climbed down the ladder, he took one last glance at where Peculiar was stood, right at the door he entered, sitting on his bed and tears landing infront of him on the floor. Xephos shut the door behind him, and crawled into a bed. Before closing his eyes, he turned over on his side, and took out a note. It read:

Dear Xephos and Honeydew,
My name is Lydia. I know you have no idea who I am, but you will know me well soon. When you get to New Mistral, ask Lysander to take you and Honeydew to me. I need to talk to you as soon as you get here. I have an urgent message to give, and I'm not sure what it means. Maybe you both will understand it.
